The Shropshire FA is one of 43 county Football Associations in England. The Shropshire FA was formed in 1877, making it one of the oldest in the Country, behind Sheffield FA (now Sheffield & Hallamshire FA) in 1867, Birmingham FA in 1875 and Surrey in 1877.

The current version of the Shropshire FA have their headquarters at the new home of Shrewsbury Town FC.Shropshire Football Association
